On the Hutt moon of Nar Shaddaa, underworld dealings make everything negotiable for enough credits. This world has contrasts between the bright lights and bright neon colors to the grimy underbelly rumored to hold the most unspeakable dangers.

This city world was made entirely of static assets. This caused the world to be smaller and several open areas to be unexpectedly divided for optimization. We found later that a combined 1/2 terrain and 1/2 static asset technique has the best balance between city feel and draw call optimization.

Inspiration came from movies like Robocop, Demolition Man, Johnny Mneumonic and years of my favorite pencil and paper role playing game Cyberpunk 2020.

This scene includes Druga's party barge which travels and docks where the smuggler goes. The rich take a tour and "slum it" down to even the bottom most depths including Wookie arena betting and secret Imperial prisons. The smuggler is on the hunt for the last of a species which the Hutt intends to dine upon.
